Great BBQ in Wimberley TX. Saw the sign in passing to my destination and drove back about 30 minutes to try it. When I tell you I am so glad I drove back man. The ribs and brisket were both so juicy and flavorful. The ribs literally fell off the bone. I got the brussel sprouts and potato salad as my sides since they were already sold out of the Mac and cheese. The Brussels were a bit on the sweet side for me but were still yummy. The potato salad was fresh and had nice flavor. If I’m ever in Wimberley again I will be sure to stop by Kelly’s again. So good!
I drive through Wimberley often and have been meaning to try this place out and glad I finally did. The brisket is top tier for central TX, moist with an excellent bark. The ribs were amazing as well, perfectly tender and sauced. Even the potato salad was superior to many other I've had. The staff were very friendly and food came out quickly. I can't wait to return to try some of their other meats. This place deserves to be on the next Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ.
Both the staff and the food were excellent. You can tell they take pride in their product. I've had BBQ all over Texas, and the brisket was some of the best I have ever had. The bark was perfect. Would not be surprised to see this place gain some popularity and end up on the top 50 list in coming years.
The pulled pork and ribs were excellent! I didn’t think they would be so delicious but they were! The meats were seasoned perfectly; not too sweet not too salty but just right. And the ribs were fall off bone tender. I also had the apple pecan coleslaw and it was delicious too. I would highly recommend this to anyone who’s traveling to hill country
Kelly’s catered our party for 50 people at a friend’s house about 20 miles out of town. The food was delivered on time, even early, and was set up very quickly for a very reasonable delivery and setup fee. We had brisket, turkey, sausage with three sides, all hot and delicious. All of our guests wanted to know where it came from as it was the best BBQ they had ever tasted. One of the best decisions we made for the party was to go with Kelly’s. We will definitely use them again.
Kelly’s catered my daughter’s wedding a few weeks ago. We were absolutely thrilled with the food! I have lived in Texas my entire life, and I’ve had a lot of barbecue. This was some of the best I’ve ever had. And the fact that we were able to showcase good Texas barbecue at the wedding made us very proud. Everyone commented on how good everything was from the brisket, the smoked turkey, sausage, and the most delicious sides. And they are not your average sides - over the top in every way.
Absolutely Amazing!!!!!! The BEST ! We were blown away with how good this bbq was !!! We thought we had good bbq in Nola and now we know we’re missing out !!! The staff are so sweet and the food was ready so fast ! I would definitely make sure to stop by ! I’ll be thinking of those tacos
I'm not a beef person and got the turkey tacos. My god they are smokey, moist, and delicious! They've now become my favorite. Two corn/flour tortillas stuffed with chopped BBQ turkey breast, a mild white cheese, drizzled with a tasty sauce, and cilantro sprinkled, along with a lime wedge to punch up the flavor! Good food and friendly service!
